Cindy's Post

With technology changing so fast in today's world, it is vitally important to offer accessibility options to those with such needs.  Such assistance might come in the form of books printed in braille or on audio devices for the sight impaired or by offering computer terminals with moveable monitors to accommodate wheelchair access.  I recently visited the San Diego Public Library downtown branch and was pleased to see what an amazing assistive technology area they offer.  To view some of what they offer, view the OliverMcMillan I CAN! Center Services for Persons with Disabilities webpage.

To our blog page, I edited the titles of each contributor's post to that of their name, rather than "post1" or "post 2", etc.  In addition, I added a hyperlink to direct traffic to a page that may be of interest.  I also made subtle changes to the layout, such as darkening the color of the navbar for easier visual clarity, moving the photo that Britteny added to the same area where I inserted a YouTube video.  Also, the "contributors" column is now horizontal right under the page title.
